NAIF is a program for simulating the trading activities of heterogeneous, procedurally rational agents with CRRA preferences in a simple two-asset economy. The model is described and applied in different papers: see References in the Overview of the package. Naif is written in C.

It has been tested and used mostly on Gentoo Linux distributions but should run, in principle, on any Unix platform. Notice that these programs have been written for personal use, and are distributed under the GPL license (see the file COPYING) in the hope they could be of help to other people, but without any implied warranty.
